Frequently asked questions
- Does this pull out text or vector graphics too?
- No. It extracts raster images (photos, scans, logos saved as bitmaps). Text and vector line art are not images and are left in the PDF.
- Why does one photo sometimes come out as several pieces?
- Some PDFs store a large image as a grid of tiles. Each tile is a separate image object, so it is extracted separately.
- Are my files uploaded?
- This runs entirely in your browser — the file is never uploaded to a server.
