Frequently asked questions

Does this pull out text or vector graphics too?
No. It extracts raster images (photos, scans, logos saved as bitmaps). Text and vector line art are not images and are left in the PDF.
Why does one photo sometimes come out as several pieces?
Some PDFs store a large image as a grid of tiles. Each tile is a separate image object, so it is extracted separately.
Are my files uploaded?
This runs entirely in your browser — the file is never uploaded to a server.
