Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 September 2026

Summary

  • Your PDFs and images are processed entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded to our servers.
  • We do not have accounts, and we do not store a history of your files.
  • If analytics is enabled, we use a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics tool that does not identify you.
  • If ads are enabled, an advertising provider may set cookies. You can control this via the cookie notice.

Files you process

Every tool on marriedtoPDF runs client-side. When you add a file, it is loaded into your browser's memory and processed on your device. The file, its contents, and the result are not transmitted to us or to any third party. When you close or reload the tab, that data is gone.

Information we collect

Analytics

When analytics is enabled, we use a privacy-focused analytics service (Plausible or Umami) configured without cookies and without collecting personal data. It records aggregate, anonymous information such as page views, referrer, approximate country, browser and device type, and whether a tool run succeeded or failed. This data cannot be used to identify you and is not sold or shared. Analytics is disabled by default in this build.

Advertising

When advertising is enabled, we display ads from a third-party advertising network (for example Google AdSense). Ad networks may use cookies or similar technologies to measure ad performance and, depending on your choices and region, to personalise ads. We do not share your files or any document content with advertisers — that content never leaves your device. Advertising is disabled by default in this build.

Server logs

The site is served as static files by a hosting provider or CDN, which may keep standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested file, user agent) for security and troubleshooting. We do not combine these logs with analytics or advertising data.

Cookies and local storage

marriedtoPDF itself uses your browser's local storage only to remember your light/dark theme preference. See the Cookie Notice for details, including any cookies set by an advertising provider when ads are enabled.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data or maintain accounts, there is normally nothing for us to look up, export or delete. If you have a question about your data, contact us at hello@marriedtopdf.com.

Children

marriedtoPDF is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13.

If this policy changes materially, the “last updated” date above will change and significant changes will be noted on the site.
